We just found this poster about the history of the Pau-brasil tree. The poster is shown to children on school trips to the Fundação Nacional do Pau-Brasil. It’s a great demonstration of the cultural importance of the tree to Brasil and shows how trade in the wood shaped Brazilian relationships with Europe over the centuries.
