Historic violin graffiti

Locked up for kissing, and missing his violin – graffiti by a luckless soul in Lancaster Castle prison in the 18th century. The inscription reads:
Iohn Bailey Commited Aprill: ye 15the 1741 by Brindle rs for Kissing
